Hi, I’m Katryn!

I started my plant journey like many of you: curious, confused, and desperate to keep a single plant alive. After killing so many plants, my husband encouraged me to try one more time- and with his help, I finally managed to not only keep my plant alive, but thriving.

As it goes in the houseplant world, one turned to two, which turned to… I’ve lost count how many. I was obsessed! So I started sharing my love of plants and propagations with others, and Secret Jungle was born.

My goal is to help others learn about how enjoyable keeping houseplants can be while also educating about the simple care methods that helped me grow my secret little jungle in my home.

So whether you’re brand new to houseplants, have killed a few plants yourself, or have the greenest of thumbs, there’s something for you here!
